Our skin tallow is handcrafted in small batches with care and love on Whidbey Island, Washington State. Initially inspired by utilizing the suet fat from our local (island grass fed) beef share and gifting to family and friends. This skin care quickly became popular for all ages, especially those who have skin issues. We've been nudged to make this publicly available and hope you too will enjoy the benefits our skin tallow can provide. For certain we feel blessed and honored by the response so far.
The organic beef fat (suet) has been rendered a few times, (slow cooked with water and salt) then blended with organic Italian Cold Extracted Olive Oil and Jojoba Oil. This skin tallow is excellent for face and body. It will not clog pores. Because of the nutritional value of beef suet, vitamin A, D, E and K are absorbed topically and will keep skin soft. Excellent for healing a variety of skin issues, and use as regular skin care. The ingredients used are kept simple on purpose for those who may have sensitivities. It is recommended to keep this skin tallow in a cool space. A small dallop rubbed in hands will warm the tallow for applying.
